Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and PDFTURA for using this website and its tools. I've kept them as plain and short as I reasonably can. By using the site, you're agreeing to what's below — so please give it a read.
Using the service
PDFTURA provides free online tools for working with documents, images, text, and related everyday tasks. You may use them for any lawful purpose. You're responsible for the files and content you process here and for making sure you have the right to use them — for example, that you own the document or have permission to work with it. The tools are provided for your own use; you shouldn't resell access to them or pass them off as your own service.
Accounts
You don't need an account to use the tools. If you do create one, you agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you think your account has been accessed without your permission. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
Acceptable use
To keep the site working well and safely for everyone, you agree not to: use the service to break the law or infringe anyone else's rights; upload or process malware, or content that is illegal or harmful; attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to our systems; scrape, automate, or hammer the tools in a way that degrades the service for others; or misuse the AI tools to generate unlawful or abusive content. We may rate-limit, suspend, or block usage that breaks these rules, in order to protect the service and the people using it.
AI tools
Our AI tools send your input to third-party AI providers and return generated results. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unintentionally biased — it's a starting point, not a source of truth. You're responsible for reviewing anything the AI produces before you rely on it, especially for important, legal, medical, or financial matters. Don't treat AI output as professional advice.
Intellectual property
The files and content you bring to the site remain entirely yours — using our tools doesn't give us any ownership of your material. The site itself — its name, design, branding, and code — belongs to PDFTURA and is protected by applicable laws. Please don't copy or reuse it without permission.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I work hard to keep them reliable and correct, but I can't promise that every tool will always be available, error-free, or suitable for your particular purpose. Formats vary, edge cases exist, and software has bugs. Always keep a copy of your original files before processing them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFTURA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, including loss of data or files. Because most processing happens right in your own browser, you keep full control of your files at all times — which is exactly how it should be. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
Availability & changes to the service
This is an actively maintained, independent project. I add, change, and occasionally retire tools over time, and the site may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance. I don't guarantee that any particular tool will remain available forever, though I'll always try to keep the popular ones running.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time as the site grows or the law requires. When I do, I'll revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with a change, simply stop using the service.
